It is never to cold to grill a steak on the bbq! Why not try one of these delicious recipes with a steak from Country Corner Market!

5 Top Steaks for Grilling or Broiling (500F)

Rib Steak
Fillet Mignon
New York Striploin
T-Bone
Top Sirloin Cap Off

Thickness Mins/Side
    1”     7
   1 ¼”     8
   1 ½”   12

Steaks should be kept at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes prior to grilling.

Internal Temperatures

Rare 125F
Medium Rare 135F
Medium 145F
Medium Well 150F
Well 155+F

For Marinade mix the following ingredients:

1 cup Red Wine
¼ cup Fine Chopped Onions
2 tbsp Chopped Garlic
2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
2 sprigs Fresh Thyme
Salt & Pepper

Marinate steaks 1 to 2 hours in refrigerator.

Rub (to be applied after marinating for 1-2 hours)

Mix following ingredients in plastic bag:

2 tbsp Salt
1 ½ tbsp Chili Powder
1 ½ tbsp Granulated Onion
¼ tbsp Granulated Garlic
½ tbsp Paprika
½ tbsp Dry Marjoram
¼ tbsp Cumin
¼ tbsp Black Pepper
1/8 tbsp Ground Cinnamon

Blue Cheese & Garlic Sauce

Mix following ingredients together in sauce pan – on medium heat whisk till well blended and cheese has melted.

¼ cup Heavy Cream
1 medium Garlic Clove - Crushed
6 oz. Blue Cheese – Crumbled

Place one tablespoon of Blue Cheese Sauce on top of each cooked steak (one won’t be enough!!!!!).

Tennessee BBQ Sauce

Mix following ingredient together in sauce pan – cook on medium heat till thickened – stirring regularly.

½ cup Ketchup
2 tbsp Jack Daniels
1 tbsp Your Favorite Steak Sauce
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
¼ tsp Granulated Garlic
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Black Pepper

Apply to steak during the last 3 minutes of cooking per side.
